About:

Diane is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from SUNY Stony Brook.  She is a Sigma Theta Tau Nursing National Honors Society member and the American Nurses Association. 

Expertise: 

With more than 25 years in healthcare, Diane has a broad range of experience including intensive care nursing for critically ill patients, caring for patients in the homecare setting, and caring for patients with chronic illness. Diane has spent the last 2 years working in an in-patient alcohol and drug detox unit, treating patients with substance use disorder and other mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, and PTDS/trauma.

Skills:

Diane’s therapeutic approach is evidence-based, holistic, and patient-centered. She believes in partnering with her patients to create a customized treatment plan based on the unique needs of each patient.  

Interests: 

Diane is particularly interested in balancing psychopharmacology with psychotherapy and lifestyle changes to optimize the mental health of her patients.
